Papers [manuscript].

Frank Walker and G. S. Walker collected a number of reminiscences of the early history of the Illawarra district. The papers consist of letters from Mrs H. Rose of Moruya, Hannah Turnbull of Thirroul, and Emma Bice and Charles Hervey of Nowra, and also biographical notes on Mrs Hicks of Thirroul, Mrs Fry of Bulli, and Thomas Werninck of Nowra. The reminiscences extend back to 1839 and refer to Aborigines, the wreck of the Dunbar, the building of roads to Wollongong, and early schools.
